Midge Returns for More Laughs in New ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Season 4 Trailer

Midge Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan) is ready for her closeup…again.

Prime Video just released the first official trailer for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season four, which picks up right where the previous installment left off. You know, shortly after Midge’s incident with Shy Baldwin (Leroy McClain).

In the trailer, Midge is still trying to pursue her career as a standup comedian, despite backlash from her fallout with Shy. (In season three, Midge makes several inappropriate jokes about Shy’s sexuality, forcing his team to fire her as the opening act.)

“Moving forward, we need a game plan,” says her manager slash friend, Susie (Alex Borstein).

Although Midge agrees, she already has an idea of her own. “You know what’s great about me? It’s when I’m me,” Midge says before giving an ultimatum. “No more opening act gigs. I will only do gigs where I can say what I want.”

Susie tries to talk some sense into her, saying, “That’s not how the business works.” To which Midge responds, “Then let’s change the business.”

In addition to Brosnahan and Borstein, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel stars Tony Shalhoub, Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron and Luke Kirby. Season four also features a few newcomers, including Kelly Bishop, Milo Ventimiglia, John Waters and Jason Alexander.

Prime Video’s official description reads, “It’s 1960 and change is in the air. Looking to hone her act, Midge finds a gig with total creative freedom. But her commitment to her craft—and the places it takes her—creates a rift between her and the family and friends around her.”

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season four will hit Prime Video on February 18, 2022. *Mic drop*
