Move over, Dollar Shave Club. There’s a new sheriff in town, and her name is Billie.
The female-run subscription-based shaving company, which launched this November and whose mission is to take the “pink tax” out of women’s razors, is over the fact that women have to pay more for everyday products (like shampoo, skin care and razors) just because they’re marketed to women. (Yeah, join the club.)
Here’s how Billie works. Your first order comes with two five-blade razor cartridges, a handle and a magnetic holder for $9. After that, you get four blades each month for the same price delivered straight to your door (no schlepping required).
To sweeten the deal, it's offering the “Pink Tax Rebate,” a referral code that’ll earn you $5, $10 or $20 off when you share with friends.
Feel-good bonus? It donates a portion of all proceeds to women’s charities around the world.
All together now: Who run the world?
