This week begins normally enough and then quickly descends into eclipse season and Mercury retrograde madness. Communication planet Mercury meets Venus retrograde in Aries on the 11th—an aspect for singing a bold love song. The vibes are all over the place, so why not serenade your crush? Then the sun meets up with Saturn on the 12th revealing the limits of selflessness. Helping others only works when we’re able to help ourselves.

The lunar eclipse—a full moon with way more oomph— in Virgo on the 14th is a call to action. There’s an intense drive to get organized and figure out a plan, but also to cut off draining obligations. The sun makes a supportive sextile to Uranus on the 14th encouraging us to try a different approach. Patience is very necessary because Mercury stations retrograde in Aries on the 15th. There will be delays in getting this plan off the ground. But! These delays might be a blessing in disguise when, after all the review and reflection, an even better idea comes along. Watch out because even if you’re willing to pause, someone you know might be pushing through and causing even more chaos.

(Horoscopes follow for each sign. If you know your rising sign, reading for that sign too will provide further insight.)
