Princess Anne Gives Sneak Peek Inside Her Royal Living Room (& Wow That’s a Lot of Stuff)

Looks like Princess Anne had quite the sports-filled weekend. And no, we’re not talking about the Super Bowl.

Last Saturday, the official Royal Family Instagram account shared a photo of the 70-year-old watching Scotland's rugby team from her living room. “As @scotlandteam Patron, The Princess Royal often supports the team from the stands,” part of the caption read. “Her Royal Highness and Vice Admiral Sir Tim cheered Scotland on from home today as they played England for the Calcutta Cup, 150 years since their first match.”

And while we love to see Anne cheering on her team from the comfort of her own couch, we couldn’t help but notice her surroundings, specifically her busy, yet totally comfy-looking, living room. (While we’re not positive, we’d assume the photo was shot at her home of Gatcombe Park in Gloucestershire where she has spent the majority of quarantine.)

In the snap, we see Anne and her hubby seated comfortably on a red couch with green floral accents. To the right of the sofa is a matching chair, a side table with a lamp and a bookshelf full of knick-knacks and figurines. Queen Elizabeth’s daughter also has a variety of family photos displayed throughout the room. The coffee table placed in front of the couple is covered with books, papers and magazines and we also noticed a dog bed on the floor next to the TV.

Honestly, the living room is refreshingly relatable considering whenever we see the members of the royal family working from home they’re usually in their perfectly organized home office.

Now, if we could only get a glimpse into the kitchen or the bedroom...
