Princess Anne Is Officially the Hardest-Working Member of the Royal Family

During her 70-year reign, Queen Elizabeth demonstrated a strong work ethic and sense of duty. So, it comes as no surprise that the late monarch's only daughter, Princess Anne, followed that example and became the hardest-working member of the royal family in 2022.

According to data that was gathered by the Court Circular, which keeps track of all the royal family's engagements, the princess carried out a whopping 214 engagements in this year. These included charity events, award ceremonies, memorials, luncheons and more. (Color us impressed.)

This marks the fifth (yes, fifth) time that Princess Anne has earned the title. In 2021, she took first place by attending 387 engagements, and she was also named the busiest royal in 2018, 2016 and 2015.

The Princess Royal surpassed her brother, King Charles III, who attended 181 royal outings, as well as Prince Edward, who attended 143 events and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, who attended 138. Prince William rounded out the top five with 126 royal engagements.

Meanwhile, Queen Consort Camilla took sixth place with 102 events under her belt, and Kate Middleton got ninth place with a total of 90 outings, following the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, who attended 100 and 94 engagements, respectively.

As 2022 comes to a close, it looks like Princess Anne is nowhere near slowing down. In the month of December alone, she attended several events that ranged from holding an Investiture at Buckingham Palace to attending the London International Horse Show.

Keep up the amazing work, princess.
