Laverne Cox Rocks Color-Blocked Trench Coat on ‘Live’—& Even Manages to Twin with Kelly Ripa

Everyone has really been bringing their best when it comes to the fashion on Live with Kelly and Ryan.

In the past couple weeks, we've seen guests turn the talk show into a runway, like Jennifer Lopez, who sported a pink Valentino blazer and shorts set during her visit. But even our hosts have been doing the most, like a few days back, when Ripa and Seacrest wore sleek, matching red outfits.

Laverne Cox was the latest celeb to guest star on Live, and as an icon of fashion herself, she wasn't going to show up looking drab. The Inventing Anna actress appeared in a Tommy Hilfiger x Romeo Hunte Dual Gender “It's Just a Trench” Combo Jacket. The stunning, color-blocked design featured patches of yellow, blue and tan, and she paired the piece with sheer black gloves and stiletto heels.

But better yet, Cox must've discussed her color palette with Kelly Ripa ahead of time, because the two ladies ended up matching in their outfits.

To twin with Cox's patches of color, Ripa sported her Isabel Marant corduroy Ulia dress in dusty yellow (which is, sadly, currently sold out), along with navy blue heels. It seemed no coincidence that these two were matching, because their color choices were spot on.

In a video that was posted to the Live account's Instagram Story, Cox and Ripa walk into the room and dance a bit to show off their outfits. Ripa is heard admiring Cox's look as she says, “This is fabulous!”

When J.Lo visited Live last week, it seemed as if she and Ripa had matched their outfits too, and in the past, we've certainly known the two co-hosts to coordinate their clothes, so we wouldn't be surprised if Kelly was secretly planning these twinning moments with her guest stars.

Who knew Live would become our new favorite fashion show?
