Kelly Ripa Will No Longer Host Her Talk Show From Her Kitchen & We’re Already Having Mark Consuelos Withdrawal

kelly ripa talk show return

For the past few months, we’ve been blessed with random Mark Consuelos sightings on Live with Kelly and Ryan, since Kelly Ripa has been virtually hosting the talk show from her kitchen due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the actress’s at-home streaming days are numbered.

Ripa and her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, are scheduled to return to the studio on Tuesday, September 8, to resume normal production on Live with Kelly and Ryan, according to E! News.

This is a pretty big deal, since the daytime show was forced to go virtual back in March. While Ripa will resume her spot on the stage, the new installments will still focus on “Live @Home” topics, including decluttering, cooking and parenting hacks.

The episodes will also feature a slew of celebrity guests, including John Leguizamo, Jessica Alba, Jimmy Kimmel, Lauren Cohan, Bethenny Frankel, Josh Groban and Tyra Banks, who is taking over as the host of Dancing with the Stars.

Although Ripa’s return to the studio is scheduled on a Tuesday, it’s important to point out that season 33 actually premieres the day prior. The first episode will take place outdoors and feature the hosts sharing their favorite grilling recipes alongside Hilary Swank, Brett Eldredge and executive producer Michael Gelman.

We’re actually pretty bummed by the news, since Ripa has been giving us an unofficial house tour during her virtual hangouts. Sneak peeks have included her bathroom, pool, at-home gym, wall decor, backyard and gorgeous landscaping (including a shirtless Consuelos).

It’s the end of an era.
