Ever since Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest made their big return to the Live with Kelly and Ryan studio, we found ourselves waking up looking forward to the behind-the-scenes videos (specifically showcasing the 49-year-old actress's ensembles) posted by the morning show’s producers. And today, Ripa’s outfit did not disappoint.
On Monday, the show shared a post on Instagram of both co-hosts on the Live stage. In the snap, we see Seacrest looking dashing in a blue suit while Ripa is seated six feet away from him. For the episode, the mother of three opted for a red dress with a black leopard-like print. She topped off the look with a sleek pair of yellow pumps (something we were not expecting but we totally stan).
Ripa’s fall-ready getup is the latest in the line of chic looks she’s worn to host the popular series. Although, the star has been open about struggles with her wardrobe, especially last week. Not only did she undergo a last-minute costume change after she realized she was donning the same dress she wore on a previous episode, but she also had to make an impromptu outfit swap when she realized her first choice was too short for the camera and would have given viewers a glimpse up her dress. Yikes.
Instead, the All My Children star opted for an army green dress by Adam Lippes. Wardrobe malfunction avoided.
Reds, yellows and greens? Looks like Ripa has been ready for Autumn for weeks.
