Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Celebrate Their 26th Anniversary: See the Romantic Pics!

It's been 26 years since Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos fell into a whirlwind romance and eloped on May 1, 1996, after meeting on the set of the TV soap, All My Children. Now, with more than two decades and three kids to speak of, the pair's love seems just as strong as ever. Case in point? The romantic posts both Consuelos and Ripa posted on their respective Instagram accounts to celebrate the major milestone.

The LIVE with Kelly and Ryan cohost chose a throwback photo that was taken at the 2007 Met Gala, for which the theme was “Poiret: King of Fashion”—a timely choice, given that the 2022 Met Gala will be taking place tomorrow, May 2. In the photo, Ripa is seen smiling as she presses her hand to her hubby's chest. She captioned the pic, “26 years with the love of my life!”

Consuelos also took to his account to share his own set of photos, along with a loving message.

The Riverdale actor shared a snap that appears to have been taken during a photo shoot from 2019, when the pair were creating their family Christmas card. In the snap, Consuelos dips his wife, who has her arms wrapped around him as they stare into one another's eyes. He followed this image up with a cartoon of two penguins holding hands that's captioned “Mate for life.”

Beneath the two photos, Consuelos wrote, “Happy anniversary! 26 years. Penguin status.”

The pair's eldest son, Michael, 24, recognized his parents' anniversary with his own post on his Instagram Story, where he shared an image of Godzilla and King Kong and jokingly wrote, “Happy anniversary mom and dad!”
