Kelly Ripa Was Joined by a Surprise Co-Host on ‘Live’ Today (& Fans Are Super Excited)

Kelly Ripa is lucky in that, sometimes, she gets to enjoy a Bring Your Husband to Work Day.

Ryan Seacrest was notably absent from Live with Kelly and Ryan this morning, but his place was filled by Ripa's husband and frequent guest co-host, Mark Consuelos. The pair were introduced by Deja Vu in this morning's episode and a clip was shared to the Live Instagram account.

In the video, we see Ripa walking in alongside Consuelos wearing a seafoam green button-up tucked into a pair of blue pants. Consuelos—who donned a form-fitting black top and gray slacks—pulled out the chair for Ripa like Seacrest normally does. The video was captioned, “@instasuelos is guest cohosting today!”

This is not the first time the pair have hosted Live together. Only back in September, Consuelos filled Seacrest's spot and Ripa introduced her partner of 25 years by saying, “Look who’s here” and joking that “Daddy’s home. Daddy’s home.”

Just like us, it seems that fans adore when these two lovebirds host together. On today's clip, one user commented, “I love when they are on the show together.” Another said, “Love you guys.”

While we're not sure when Seacrest will be returning to Live, we saw that just a couple days ago, he was celebrating the birthday of his niece, Flora. The toddler actually received a gift from Ripa and Consuelos, which Seacrest referenced in his caption, saying, “It’s someone’s birthday today! Shout-out to Auntie Ripa and Uncle Mark for Flora’s bday gingerbread house - I think we have a future architect in the fam.”

We hope Seacrest enjoys his break and in the meantime, we'll be enjoying one of our fave couples hosting together.
