No one is more thrilled about Kelly Ripa’s Halloween costume than her husband, Mark Consuelos.
It all started earlier this week when the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host, 50, shared a photo of her costume: Joe Exotic from Netflix’s Tiger King. Consuelos re-posted the picture on his Instagram Story, which features Ripa sitting in the makeup chair. He captioned the post, “I’d smash.”
This prompted Ripa to share the photo on her Instagram Story (screenshot above)—but this time, she added a “Plot Twist” GIF. She also included music: “I Put a Spell on You” by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins.
Ripa further documented her Joe Exotic transformation on her Instagram Story, posting a closeup of her spot-on makeup with the caption, “Joe says watch #livebesthalloweenshowever.”
The talk show host also shared a photo of the final look, which consists of a botched wig, cowboy hat, mustache and hot pink button-down shirt.
Ripa concluded by sharing a priceless “before” and “after” collage on her Instagram page.
The caption read, “#halloween 2020. How it started. How it’s going [Halloween emojis] Because two things can be true at once.”
The Halloween episode comes just one week after Live producers posted a slideshow of Halloween photos on the official Live with Kelly and Ryan Instagram account. The post features several pop culture-inspired costumes, including I Love Lucy, Friends, I Dream of Jeannie, The Addams Family, Stranger Things and Wonder Woman.
Guess it was only a matter of time before Ripa channeled Tiger King.
