Kelly Ripa Calls Out Her Mom's Major 'Mistake' on Family Thanksgiving FaceTime

Getting the hang of virtual calls can be pretty tricky, and Kelly Ripa's parents understand this all too well.

To celebrate Thanksgiving this year, Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, opted for a virtual call with their parents. Alongside a collection of screenshots and family photos, Ripa said, "#tbt Thanksgiving is not like last year, but we’re still grateful that our parents are getting the hang of FaceTime. Sort of. [turkey emojis]."

While the first pic features a throwback photo of Ripa with her husband and three children, the following photos reveal the Consuelos Fam chatting via FaceTime. But in the comments, after a fan opened up about FaceTiming her in-laws, Ripa revealed a rather interesting detail about her mom, who seems to be taking her safety very seriously.

A fan shared, "We just FaceTimed my in-laws and we had to tell them we couldn't see their face, they had to back up, and that what they see on the screen is what we see [laughing emoji]." Then the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host replied, "My mom put on her mask to talk to us [laughing emoji]."

In the third photo of Ripa's gallery, her mother can actually be seen sporting a medical face mask as she sits near her husband (at home) and chats with the rest of the family. In response to Ripa's comment, one fan said, "I noticed—too funny! So cute!"

Although Thanksgiving looked quite different in the Ripa-Consuelos home this year, it seems like there was no shortage of entertaining moments!
