Kelly Ripa is an actress, a mom, a talk show host and a wife to her husband, Mark Consuelos. And now, she’s adding another title to her resume: author.
Yesterday, the Live with Kelly and Ryan star, 51, announced that she’s publishing her first-ever book, titled Live Wire, on September 27. The book will feature a collection of “long-winded short stories” that were written by Ripa herself.
Ripa announced the exciting news on her personal Instagram account by sharing a photo of the book’s cover, which features the actress in a Marilyn Monroe-inspired pose. She is wearing something we’d see on an episode of Live, including a flattering pleated skirt, a black blouse and stilettos. She’s also sporting her signature middle part with beachy waves in her hair.
In the caption, Ripa revealed that she couldn’t have done it without her supportive husband. It read, “My husband said writing a book is like giving birth. He’s never done either. Although it would be like giving birth, if giving birth lasted 18 months. A labor of love nonetheless. Preorder for those who love long winded short stories. Link in Bio. #LiveWireBook.”
