The week ahead is busy—it’s the week before a full moon. The moon is waxing, pouring more effort into the storyline of the lunar month and whatever projects or problems it has set out for us. It’s the week we make it all happen and then lie under Saturday’s full moon and see how far we’ve come. The key to navigating this week successfully? Give it everything you have.

Sunday, the moon remains in practical Capricorn, keeping our bodies focused and productive, ready to dive into the week before us. By midday on Monday, la luna has moved into quirky Aquarius and takes a step back from discipline to think things through. Mercury makes a buoyant connection with Jupiter, further lifting our spirits and inspiring our minds.

Tuesday is the autumnal equinox, and the Sun enters the sign of Libra. This year, Libra season is hosted by Venus in Scorpio about to turn retrograde, so there’s a more serious tone; less pumpkin patch, more spooky season. Libra season is decidedly devious this year, and like Venus, is turning her normal values of diplomacy, fairness and justice upside down. All of those topics will be re-examined in personal, cultural and collective spaces over the next four weeks.

On Wednesday evening, the moon enters Pisces, and our capacity for both empathy and overwhelm becomes boundless. This is the artistic and emotional peak of the week, where we feel it all.

On Friday, the Sun comes exactly opposite to Neptune, and we have a few options. Neptune destabilizes reality. It symbolizes altered mental states, like dreams, intoxication, revelations and delusions. It dissolves our core assumptions and drains forward momentum. So, one option is a drain of physical stamina. The sun is a major power source, but when confronted with Neptune, it loses clarity of purpose and suddenly cannot do anything but couch rot. Another option is escapism into your vice of choice, so be careful about overconsumption this weekend. Alternatively, you can escape into fantasy shows or books, moving from one world into another.

Following the opposition with Neptune, the sun harmonizes with intense Pluto, so whichever adventure we end up on with Neptune, Pluto is likely to take us all the way to the end of the road. Moderation is simply off the table.

The full moon goes exact midmorning on Saturday, meaning it will appear ‘full’ both Friday and Saturday nights. It occurs in the very beginning of Aries, leaning into Neptune. The moon combined with Neptune leads to dissociative and out-of-body experiences. Lean into creative and artistic expressions, but know that whatever you see under the light of this moon is likely not solid or real in an earthly sense.

One beautiful opportunity Neptune offers is forgiveness. Whether to yourself or others, Neptune can dissolve the stickiness of our grudges and take them from our hands. So, feel free to offer up to this full moon whatever harsh feelings might be holding you back from doing what you need to do.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

You’re on the edge of something new, and you probably feel it. But first, you have to look at who is coming with you. The sun lights up your relationship sector for the next month while the full moon dissolves into Neptune and asks, who are you now? It’s been such a year for self-development, and the full moon wants to check in on your progress. Can you feel the next version of yourself about to emerge?

This week’s mantra: “gestational”

Cheeky illustration of a young non-binary person petting a bull.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

The sun moves into your work house, pulling your focus down to the details and practical tasks to take care of your body. The full moon lights up the psychological halls of your inner world. There you are, pulled to care for both your body and your mind. It’s personal and tender. Take your time and protect your peace.

This week’s mantra: “ritual”

Cheeky illustration of identical twins with long dark hair and a statement earrings back-to-back, smirking at each other.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

Libra season lights up the place of fun and joy for you, Gemini. There’s a playfulness to your creativity which is quite endearing. Neptune calling from the space of your audience wants you to share whatever you make. Between the maker and the consumer, there is a dance. To whom does the art belong?

This week’s mantra: "generosity"

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

The annual full moon in Aries stretches you between home life and work responsibilities. But this year, Neptune is blurring the boundaries at work, and it can leave you feeling maxed out and overwhelmed. The key to handling the sense of demand is to try to have fun where you can so your nervous system can find some relief. Libra season wants to just get cozy, but you will have to finish some things up before you can relax.

This week’s mantra: “complete”

Cheeky illustration of a woman of Asian-descent wearing a sheer coral top with her hair half-up in pigtail puns, the rest down. She is hugging a lion, who is smirking.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)

Your social life and calendar buzz happily in the first few days of the week, and the sun’s entrance into Libra only expands the networking event. Neptune asks you who you are in your community and extended family, and if that is in alignment with who you want to be. The full moon highlights your major goals and belief systems, drawing you into intoxicated reveries of magic and divine inspiration.

This week’s mantra: “yes”

Cheeky illustration with a light blue background of a woman wearing a coral shirt coyly poking out from behind her hands.

Virgo (August 23 - September 23)

The sun departs from your sign and takes a look instead upon the state of your resources and finances. Right now, finances are about who you know, with both of your money planets in your social houses. The full moon is about the murky places where you give up your power in service to others. Do you do it for their or your benefit?

This week’s mantra: “divide”

Libra (September 23 - October 21)

It’s your season, Libra, and the first big thing is the moon taking a mirror to your relationships. You’ve had so much growth in that department over the last year, but also the several before it. What have you learned about the nature of relationships? How do you show up differently in them than you used to? And what new longings for connection and intimacy lead you forward into the next chapter?

This week’s mantra: “relate”

680x400 Scorpio%402x

Scorpio (October 22 - November 21)

This week focuses on balancing your mental and physical health. You disappear behind the scenes for Libra season, taking a much-needed break from visibility. The moon wanders the halls of family stuff, creativity and play, before focusing on your physical body and how it feels to inhabit it at this point. It’s a strange experience to have Neptune in your physical body space, as it can make your relationship to it feel otherworldly or disjointed. Watch how your physical health mirrors your mental health and vice versa.

This week’s mantra: “inhabit”

Cheeky illustration of a Black woman with purple hair on an orange background. She's in a wearing jean jacket, with a quiver strapped across her back and arrows sticking out.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)

You’re busy this week. The swelling moon lights up your weekly calendar and the sun and Mercury sparkle in your social life. Midweek, you’re ready to host at home or just relax in your own space. The full moon highlights your creative life and fun sector. If you’re not vibing with what friends are up to, feel free to do your own thing this weekend.

This week’s mantra: “ride”

A cheeky image of a woman of color with dark hair holding a pink goat by the horns. The background is pink and her shirt is darker pink.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)

The sun climbs to your most ambitious space when it enters Libra on Tuesday. Your career sector becomes the focus while you try to ground yourself with goals and purpose. Neptune has other plans though, ones that draw your eye and mind back to matters of home and memory, pulling you into reveries of what might have been. Feeling lost is temporary. Make art about your experience, but do not confuse your feelings for reality.

This week’s mantra: “steady now”

Cheeky image of a Black woman with blue hair on a light blue background. She's holding blue water in her palms, which is bubbling up and taking shape as her hair.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)

The full moon lights up the axis of practicing and preaching, of the spaces where you are on autopilot and the ones that demand your full attention. You are asked to think deeply about how you are living your beliefs, and where you might be behaving in ways outside of your values. Life isn’t lived from a top-down or bottom-up approach, but a marriage and conversation between the busy world and the way we think it should be. The medicine is knowing who you are and staying present.

This week’s mantra: “center”

Cheeky illustration of a gender-fluid white person with short-cropped orange hair. They're wearing a light blue halter top as two bright pink koi fish circle their head.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)

Financial matters are highlighted this week when the sun moves into Libra and lights up your space of shared finances, debts and inheritances. What’s yours and what ties you to others is the focus of the full moon. This area will likely be unclear as nebulous Neptune confuses the balance sheets. You want to be independent and self-sufficient, but do you trust yourself enough to bet on yourself?

This week’s mantra: “sort”
