Happy spring equinox! The sun enters Aries on the 20th ushering in birthday season for our lovable rams who are in good company with celebs like Reese Witherspoon, Keira Knightley and Sarah Jessica Parker. Right out the gate there’s a new moon in Aries on the 21st allowing us to begin the season with optimism and a clean slate.

But this isn’t just the start of a solar season or lunar cycle. This week is a sea change! On the 23rd, Pluto—the epoch-defining transformation planet—enters Aquarius. Pluto has been in Capricorn since 2008 (!) so this shift into Aquarius will bring on a whole new era defined by a renewal of our social and technological systems. Pluto will be in Aquarius through the 2040s, so don’t worry, this isn’t a sudden metamorphosis. It’s a slow process of gradual change. Notice how you’re being asked to embrace the future this week.

Finally on the 25th, there’s yet another change which is Mars moving into Cancer after the action planet’s seven month stint in Gemini. With this shift comes the relief that the challenges we’ve been dealing with since August (or October or December) have finally come to pass and we’re onto the next thing. This doesn’t mean we have no more problems, but we’re, at the very least, done with the old ones. Time to enter a new era!

Aries
(March 21 - April 19)

Changing your life isn’t easy and as your season begins this week, it feels like you’re fumbling into the future. The new moon on the 21st is in your sign and offers a moment to ground in your body and the present moment before rushing into the next thing. Prioritizing self-care clears your head…and your skin.

Taurus
(April 20 - May 20)

(July 23 - Aug 22)
