‘Virgin River’ Cast and Crew Just Threw a 50th Episode Party (and Luckily, They Posted Pics on IG)

Time to say a huge congratulations to the cast and crew of the beloved series Virgin River, as they just celebrated a major milestone while filming the show’s fifth season.

The Netflix show’s account posted a photo slideshow on Instagram, where the cast members are seen partying at a Virgin River themed-celebration in honor of filming fifty episodes of the series.

In the first photo, Tim Matheson (Doc Mullins), Alexandra Breckenridge (Melinda “Mel” Monroe), Annette O’Toole (Hope McCrea) and Martin Henderson (Jack Sheridan) share a (victory) embrace in what appears to be the show’s backstage area.

The next photo shows Matheson holding up a miniature cake version of a cabin from the show (and pretending to eat it in the process). All the while, there is a much bigger cake featuring the opening from Virgin River sitting on the table.

The caption read, “Congrats to the cast and crew on the completion of 50 episodes of Virgin River!! [party and drink emojis] … Also, thank you to our beloved fans because we couldn’t of done this without you!”

Cast members flooded the comments section with celebratory responses. Sarah Dugdale (Lizzie) wrote, “Thank you for loving our show because we have a great time making it!”

Kai Bradbury (aka Denny) said, “YAY VR FAM!!!” with multiple blue heart emojis. O’Toole came across the post and commented, “We had a lovely celebration. Thanks to everyone who watches our show! We have a great time making it.”
