Serena Williams truly sparkled at the 2022 Critics Choice Awards.

Today, the Grand Slam champion took to Instagram to show off her silver Versace gown that she wore to the prestigious award show last night. In the behind-the-scenes photos, Williams struck numerous elegant poses in what appears to be her backyard. The dress consisted of a train that extended from the waistline of the dress, making the ensemble even more stunning.

The tennis player accessorized the look with a pair of diamond bracelets and drop earrings. She wrote in the caption, “About last night ….It felt surreal to present with @venuswilliams at the Critics Choice Awards, the same night a film about my family was nominated for best picture. Thank you, THANK YOU for an unforgettable evening.”

Williams posted another video of herself striking an array of poses in the ensemble. The short clip starts with her giving a very distinct close-up of her diamond ring. Then, the camera pans to showcase the dazzling outfit. Williams captioned the video with a diamond and white heart emoji (while also using the hashtag for the event).

At the awards show, Serena and Venus presented the award for Best Drama Series, which was given to the cast of Succession. King Richard, the biopic based on their life, was also nominated for Best Picture. Will Smith took home the award for Best Actor for his outstanding performance as the sister’s father and coach, Richard Williams, in the film.

During his acceptance speech, the actor personally thanked the family. He said, “I really just want to say to all of you, thank you for entrusting me with your story. What you were able to do, and what your family was able to do, inspired everyone in this room, everyone in this country and everyone around the world.”

We’re absolutely in love with this red carpet look, Serena.
