Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Changed the Photo on the Homepage of Their Website

It looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thought their Archewell website needed a little bit of a facelift.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been keeping quite busy these days, what with a Netflix docuseries, podcasts, oh, and two young kids to take care of. However, we just noticed that the couple changed the photo on the homepage of their website, trading out the old pic for a brand-new portrait courtesy of Misan Harriman.

The pic was snapped during the 2022 One Young World Summit at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, England. This summit (of which Markle is a counsellor, btw) unites over 2,000 young leaders from around the world in an effort to bring about social change.

Prince Harry and Markle had their photo taken prior to attending the ceremony, and Harriman shared a couple of the shots to his account, writing, “The Duke & Duchess of Sussex moments before attending the opening ceremony of @OneYoungWorld last month.”

If Harriman's name looks familiar, that's because the professional photographer also snapped the first official portrait of the couple's 1-year-old daughter, Lilibet.

The photographer must be a close friend of the couple's, because he shared the slideshow featuring baby Lili and wrote, “It was such a privilege to celebrate the 1st birthday of Lilibet with my family and hers! Joy and face painting all around.”

While the couple may have changed their photo, it seems they want to maintain the messaging of their site. Archewell is a non-profit that was established by the couple in an effort to “unleash the power of compassion to drive systemic cultural change.”

And although they changed their homepage photo, the quote next to it has remained the same. “Each of us can change our communities,” it reads. “All of us can change the world.”

This isn't the first time the couple have made a major change to their site. Back in September, following Queen Elizabeth II's passing, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shut down their site and simply left a black background, along with a message that said, “In Loving Memory. Her Majesty. Queen Elizabeth II. 1926-2022.”

A few days later, Prince Harry added a message that said, “In celebrating the life of my grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen—and in mourning her loss—we are all reminded of the guiding compass she was to so many in her commitment to service and duty. She was globally admired and respected. Her unwavering grace and dignity remained true throughout her life and now her everlasting legacy.”

We're loving the new photo, Harry and Meghan.
