The event's panel will feature 16 speakers, ranging from trained psychologists and self love experts to brain health coaches. And according to BetterUp, the goal is help others "recharge, reinspire, and reignite [their] sense of purpose." While announcing the event on Instagram, the company wrote, "What is Inner Work? It’s a mindful, conscious effort to organize the inner you: your thoughts and reactions, your feelings and instincts...It’s the work dedicated to ordering your mind and re-centering."
When the Duke of Sussex joined BetterUp in March 2021, he revealed in a statement that he would focus on raising awareness for mental fitness, guiding BetterUp’s social mission and expanding the company's global community. He said, "I firmly believe that focusing on and prioritizing our mental fitness unlocks potential and opportunity that we never knew we had inside of us. As the Royal Marine Commandos say, ‘It’s a state of mind.’ We all have it in us."
He continued, "Self-optimization is not about fixing something that’s broken. It’s about becoming the best version of ourselves, with whatever life throws at us—someone who is ready for the next challenge and can meet setbacks with courage, confidence, and self-awareness. This is what BetterUp is making possible, and I look forward to being on this journey with you."
The event, which kicks off at 12 p.m. ET on February 3, is now open for registration on their official website. (Excuse us while we go sign up.)
