Turns Out, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Love that Iconic Rain Photo Almost as Much as We Do

It seems like just yesterday Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wowed us in matching blue ensembles in London. You know, where they took that iconic photograph under an umbrella in the rain?

Well, as it turns out, not only was the world majorly impressed (and a tiny bit jealous) of the snapshot but according to royal family photographer, Samir Hussein, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were also pleased.

“The picture that I took of Harry and Meghan in the rain recently, I’ve never had a reaction to a picture like that one,” Hussein told Us Weekly in an exclusive. “In terms of the reaction I’ve had from people, that’s got to be the most iconic from that point of view. I spoke to some of their team and they were really happy about it and talking about it.” Talk about the ultimate compliment.

If you didn’t know, the photograph in question was taken at this year’s Endeavour Fund Awards ceremony (on March 31 to be exact). The event also marked the 35-year-old prince and 38-year-old duchess’s first joint U.K. engagement since announcing their plans to step back from their duties as senior members of the royal family.

So, yeah. Definitely a big day all around.
