Kelly Ripa Shares New Photo with Dogs Taken by Husband Mark Consuelos: ‘Downward Dog Day’

According to Kelly Ripa's new Instagram photo, she had some unexpected visitors during her latest workout session: her two dogs, Lena and Chewie.

The photo, which was snapped by Ripa's husband, Mark Consuelos, shows the Live with Kelly and Ryan host laughing while she kneels on her green yoga mat. In front of her lies her Shih Tzu, Chewie, while her other dog, Lena, is seen sprawled across one end of the mat.

Ripa captioned the photo, “Downward dog day #dogsofinstagram #lena #chewie [camera emoji]: @instasuelos.”

Fellow celebs loved the pet-filled photo, like sports reporter Megan Olivi, who said, “Just a bunch of cuties.” Carrie Ann Inaba noticed that Chewie seemed to be sporting pink bows in her hair, and she wrote, “Those bows!! So cute.” Meanwhile, Justin Sylvester joked, “Lena with the side eye!”

The photo was captured a few days back, while Ripa was filming a segment for the latest (remote) episode of Live. On the talk show, Ripa and her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, welcomed Peloton instructor Emma Lovewell for a lesson on how to “crush their core workout.” However, before the exercise began, the camera panned over to Ripa as she petted her two dogs.

Ripa's pups got their own feature later on in the episode, when the talk show host held up Lena and said, “Look who's here! Fresh from the groom room.”

The two dogs have been getting a lot of attention on Ripa's Instagram lately. Last month, the host showed her pets posing in front of a Christmas tree wearing matching red sweaters. And then just last week, Ripa shared a photo of the two while asking for groomer recommendations in Ann Arbor.

Keep the puppy pics coming, Kelly.
