Kelly Ripa Shares Christmas Photo of Pups Lena and Chewie—Along with the Outtakes

Now that it’s December, we have one question: Will Kelly Ripa release a family holiday card this year even though all of her kids are out of the house? The answer is not entirely clear. However, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host provided fans with Christmas photos featuring the four-legged members of her family.

A few days after decorating her Christmas tree, the 51-year-old shared a snap from a photoshoot she had with her pups, Lena and Chewie. In the pic, we see both dogs—sporting matching sweaters—seated in front of the colorfully-lit tree and staring at the camera.

“As it turns out, holiday photos with dogs is just as challenging, #christmas #tree #dogsofinstagram,” she captioned the post. In addition to the photo, the TV personality also shared a series of outtake images from the shoot on her IG story, which she accompanied by Michael Bublé’s rendition of “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.”

In one of the shots, she even revealed that the dogs were “getting bored” of taking photos.

Last year, Ripa revealed her family’s holiday card on social media in early December, which included two images—one on the front and one on the back. The snaps only featured the Consuelos children, with Ripa and her hubby, Mark Consuelos, nowhere to be found. “Happy Holidays,” the front of the card read while the back stated, “See ya, 2020.”

So, while we don’t know if we’re ever getting an official Christmas card, we’ll take what we can get from these two pups.
