At long last, Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor is finally coming to a close. While season 24 has undoubtedly been “dramatic,” it had no shortage of conspiracy theories about how the show will end.
So, what should you believe? Keep reading for five theories about The Bachelor finale, ranked from insane to super likely.
Ranking: Insane
This theory originated from one scene that has been featured in, like, every single promo. It takes place during what appears to be the final rose ceremony and shows Chris Harrison dropping a bombshell on Weber, saying, “There’s something I just found out. All of us just found out. I’m not sure how all this ends, so I just wanted to give you a heads up.”
One could assume that someone returns to crash the final rose ceremony. However, we think that the mystery guest might not be an eliminated contestant at all…but the former Bachelorette.
While it’s not likely, we find it extremely hard to believe that the producers would bring Brown on the show, air the drama that ensues and then completely drop it without potentially bringing her back for some closure.
Ranking: Somewhat unlikely
It’s no secret that rumors have been swirling about Weber and his Bachelor producer, Julie LaPlaca. It all started when photos surfaced of the couple spending the holidays together, which prompted fans to snoop into their relationship. Their investigation found that Weber and LaPlaca have been hanging out ever since production wrapped. Not only has she met Weber’s family, but she’s also developed an “intimate relationship” with the pilot, according to Harrison.
Ranking: Not totally out of the cards
There are several clues that point to Hannah Ann as the winner. First, fans noticed that she’s the only contestant who has a private Venmo account. It sounds suspicious, since one user famously predicted that Cassie Randolph would win Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor based on his Venmo transactions.
To top it off, many believe that Hannah Ann traveled with Weber shortly after The Bachelor stopped filming, since they both posted two eerily similar Instagram Stories captions. Oh, and did we mention Hannah Ann is moving to Los Angeles (aka the same place where Weber lives)?
Ranking: Somewhat plausible
We wouldn’t be surprised if Madison walks away, but there’s a small chance that both contestants self-eliminate. This would be contingent on Hannah Ann growing suspicious of Weber’s relationship with Madison—so much so that she decides to send herself home when she realizes how emotionally distraught Weber is over Madison.
During one promo, Weber says, “I’m so sorry from the bottom of my heart. I’m so sorry. I swear to God I never ever envisioned this.”
The trailer makes it seem like he’s speaking to Madison, but we can’t help but wonder if he’s really talking to Hannah Ann. So, although it looks like he’s apologizing for his actions in the Fantasy Suite, he could actually be referring to the fact that he doesn’t want to be with Hannah Ann…even after Madison self-eliminates. This would leave Hannah Ann with no other choice but to follow suit.
Ranking: Super likely
It’s no secret that Madison is still “unsure” about her future with Weber, since he was “intimate” with the other contestants in the Fantasy Suite (even after she asked him not to be). While she accepted his rose during the final three ceremony, many fans believe Madison will self-eliminate in next week’s episode.
Why? Madison already said that she can’t say “yes” to an engagement if Weber slept with someone else a few days before…and that’s exactly what happened. So, even if Weber does pick Madison, we predict she’ll flee knowing that if it were meant to be, he’d eventually come after her.
This theory would support Chris Harrison’s claim that no one knows how the season ends, since Madison and Weber will likely make a decision about their future during the After the Final Rose special.
