‘Bachelor’ Fans Are Convinced Peter Weber Ends Up with…a Producer from the Show?

Every season, Chris Harrison seems to claim this season of The Bachelor is “the most dramatic yet.” This time he might just be right.

Sure, Peter Weber’s chapter of The Bachelor has been marked by lots of drama (Hannah Brown! Alayah! Tammy!), but there’s a brand-new theory floating around the internet that’s a real doozy. The Reddit theory purports that the 28-year-old pilot doesn’t end up with one of his many female suitors. Instead, it argues that Weber ultimately professes his love for Bachelor producer Julie LaPlaca. Wait, what?

Let’s break it down: Each Bachelor/Bachelorette and contestant is assigned a personal producer upon arriving on set. They support the contestant or Bachelor/Bachelorette and also make sure they’re creating opportunities for really good TV. LaPlaca is one of these producers in the franchise and she’s worked on both Brown’s and Weber’s seasons. That said, she has a close relationship with Weber. But, when photos of her and the Weber family celebrating a New Year’s Eve lunch surfaced, fans definitely had some questions. (Scope the pic below.)

Interesting…right? Well, that’s not all. LaPlaca also shared a photo of herself in Times Square on New Year’s Rockin Eve in which Weber can be seen wearing a camel-colored coat in the background.

What’s more is that Brown commented on the photo saying that she “approves.” She could, of course, be referencing her approval of LaPlaca’s NYE plans, but that seems too simple.

As far as we see it, LaPlaca could have been accompanying Weber out of work obligation. Because she’s now worked with him for years and been through a rather interesting experience with him (his whole trying to find love on TV thing), it’s understandable that his family would embrace her. They also could simply be friends.

This makes us even more excited to see how everything pans out for Pilot Pete.
