Peter Weber Says ‘Bachelor’ Finale Is Extremely Dramatic, Not ‘Overproduced’

Yes, Chris Harrison is referring to Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor as the “most dramatic” one to date. But according to the 28-year-old reality star, the host actually means it this time.

Weber recently sat down for an interview with Glamour magazine and revealed that The Bachelor finale is one for the books. “I keep telling people that last week was the hardest week of my life, and it didn’t stop until the very end,” he said.

We first saw a glimpse of what’s to come during The Bachelor premiere, which featured a promo teasing scenes from the (supposedly) intense finale.

In the clip, Harrison approaches Weber and drops a bombshell right before what appears to be the last rose ceremony. “There’s something I just found out. All of us just found out,” the host says. “I’m not sure how all this ends, so I just wanted to give you a heads up.”

Weber claims it’s “the last thing I needed to hear,” but he doesn’t give away any clues as to what he’s talking about. So, does one of the contestants have a secret boyfriend? Or does Hannah Brown return…again?

We’re not entirely sure, but Weber promised the finale will live up to expectations. “It’s not overproduced at all,” he added. “I promise you.”

The good news is we don’t have to wait until the end to get a juicy dose of drama. Weber also revealed the hometown dates are unlike anything Bachelor Nation has seen before.

“I’ve never seen what happens on this hometown happen. I don’t think it’s ever been seen before. It’s a huge zigzag; it may confuse some people,” he said. And then continued, “Listen, I’m not perfect, and I make mistakes throughout this, and I’m not saying there’s mistakes on that one, but there’s a lot of back-and-forth, and that hometown is pretty crazy.”

“Pretty crazy?” We’ll be the judge of that. The Bachelor airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
