Arby's/Cinnabon

Before you hit the drive-thru for your usual, you should know that there are tons of new menu items (many of which are only available for a limited time) to try at all your favorite chains this November. As a food editor, I'm seeing us gradually move away from pumpkin, apple and cinnamon towards peppermint, sugar cookies and even eggnog. Whether you're craving country-fried turkey or a caramel-pecan cinnamon roll, you can get it all as we transition from fall to holiday mode.

Allow me to present more than 20 of the most exciting new menu items at fast food chains this month, including Taco Bell, Dunkin', Cracker Barrel and more. Read on for the latest and tastiest of the moment.

Review: This Ina Garten Recipe Is the Ultimate Holiday Dessert (or Host Gift)

1. Taco Bell Launches Flamin’ Hot Grilled Cheese Burrito

It's about time Taco Bell dreamed up a neon-colored, tongue-tingling collab with Flamin' Hot. Not only is the burrito dappled with Fritos Flamin' Hot corn chips, but it's also stuffed with Flamin' Hot Rice, complete with cheddar cheese powder and lime. Having tried it (and the new Frank's RedHot Diablo lineup), I'd suggest eating it as soon as you receive it, so the chips don't go soggy, and substituting creamy jalapeño sauce for the chipotle, if you don't like its bacon-y, smoky flavor.

2. Chili's Wicked-Inspired Margaritas of the Month

They're not *officially* tied to Wicked, but they're "inspired by a legendary duo," according to a press announcement. OK, Chili's. There's the verdant Witches Brew Margarita, spiked with Granny Smith apple syrup and garnished with a hat-topped witch's broom swizzle stick, as well as the bubblegum pink Good Witch Margarita, made with dragon fruit syrup and a sparkly wand stirring stick.

The latter was PureWow VP of editorial Candace Davison's favorite: "It's more sweet than sour, but there's a lightness to it that makes it very easy to sip," she explained in her review.

3. Starbucks Announces New Lineup for the Holidays

Now that fans have gotten their fill of apple- and pumpkin-infused caffeine, Starbucks announced its 2025 holiday menu, which hits stores on November 6. On it are five returning bevs (Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Iced Sugar Cookie Latte, Iced Gingerbread Chai and Chestnut Praline Latte), as well as the new-and-improved Eggnog Latte. There's also a new Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread to pair your drink with, in case you're feeling peckish.

4. Subway Brings Back Its Fresh Fit Menu

This nostalgic lineup was just revamped and resurrected. I got to taste all four sandwiches in October, which are piled high with vegetables and teeming with protein. They're also less than 500 calories each. Options include Grilled Chicken & Avocado, Ham & Turkey Stacker, Seasoned Steak & Avocado and, my favorite, Turkey & Ranch Delite.

5. Cracker Barrel's Holiday Menu Is Back

Yeah, I'll go to Cracker Barrel for the hashbrown casserole and turnip greens alone. But there's so much more to enjoy than the iconic sides, especially at this time of year. The chain's holiday menu includes annual fan-favorites, like country fried turkey, Merry Berry Tea and an array of seasonal pies, as well as new Creole catfish, butter pecan French toast bake, cheesy grits and sausage & egg hashbrown casserole. Most enticing to me is the breakfast burger, crowned with an egg and—you guessed it—more hashbrown casserole.

6. Cinnabon's Holiday Desserts Hit Stores

As if the O.G. cinnamon roll wasn't drool-worthy enough, Cinnabon just released five new items for the holidays. For fruit lovers, there's the Apple Crumble Topped Bon and the Apple Crumble Center of the Roll, complete with caramel sauce and streusel crumble. Alternatively, there's the Caramel Pecan Topped Bon and the Caramel Pecan Center of the Roll. To wash it all down, go with the new Caramel Chillatta, a blended coffee drink with whipped cream.

7. Wendy's Tendys Take Over, Along with New Sauces & Dessert

In line with its competitors, Wendy's released new chicken tenders (adorably called Wendy's Tendys) in late September. There are also six new sauces—Signature, Sweet Chili, Scorchin' Hot, Creamy Ranch, Honey BBQ and Honey Mustard—for dipping, and the cups are nearly two times bigger. Better yet, there's also a new Snickerdoodle Cookie Frosty Fusion, which comes with your choice of vanilla or chocolate Frosty blended with cinnamon snickerdoodle sauce and cookie crumbles.

8. Dunkin' Releases Wicked & Holiday Menus

Two new lineups are hitting Dunkin' locations everywhere on November 5. First is the Wicked-inspired menu, which includes two drinks—a fruity Pink Refresher and an earthy Green Matcha—as well as sprinkle-coated Wicked Munchkins. In case you're already in the Christmas spirit though, there's also the novel Cookie Butter Cloud Latte (espresso, milk and flavors of brown sugar and baked cookie; iced, it's also topped with cookie butter cold foam and cookie butter crumble) and Berry Sangria Refresher (a booze-free blend of holiday punch flavors with green or black tea, lemonade or sparkling water) to hold you over until December, along with returning classics like the Peppermint Mocha and Toasted White Chocolate Latte. Did I mention the new Bacon Jam Grilled Cheese?

9. Dairy Queen Holiday Menu

If you thought DQ's fall menu was delicious, just wait until you see what they dreamed up for the winter. The Holiday Treat Collection includes two new items and one revived: the Peppermint Bark Blizzard Treat (white and milk chocolate, peppermint candy cane pieces and soft serve), the Frosted Sugar Cookie Blizzard Treat (soft sugar cookie pieces, icing, sprinkles and soft serve) and the Holiday Nog Shake (holiday nog syrup blended with soft serve).

10. McDonald's New Buffalo Ranch Lineup

Instead of asking the cashier to pack you Buffalo and ranch dressing on your next McDonald's run, simply order this limited-time blend of the two. It's available as a dip for McCrispy Strips and as a sauce on the Bacon Buffalo Ranch McCrispy, the Bacon Buffalo Ranch Deluxe McCrispy and the Buffalo Ranch Snack Wrap.

11. SONIC Celebrates Winter with New Items & Deals

Head to the closest location to try the all-new Bourbon Caramel Iced Coffee, finished with whipped topping, caramel drizzle and a mini cowboy hat. Even more festive is the Peppermint Brownie Bark Shake, a blend of vanilla soft serve, chocolate chunk brownie pieces and crushed peppermints. In case you're ordering food too, there's the limited-time Pretzel Bacon Double SONIC Smasher burger, complete with fried onions and creamy mustard, as well as the revamped $1.99 menu, led by the new Creamy Mustard Chicken Tender Wrap.

12. Buffalo Wild Wings & Jonas Brothers Unite

This chicken wing haven released a limited-time sauce on October 29, Brown Sugar Heat. If swicy flavors are your jam, look no further, but potentially more interesting to you is the current collab between BWW and The Jonas Brothers. They've apparently been fans of the chain for years, and are officially offering their go-to picks for the mix-and-match Ultimate Sampler (boneless wings, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and cheese curds, in case you're wondering).

13. Rudolph Comes to Denny's

There's something so nostalgic about a holiday breakfast with the fam. Starting now, you can treat yourself to the Rudolph Everyday Value Slam—which includes two eggs and pancakes with turkey bacon antlers, vanilla cream and chocolate eyes and a strawberry nose—or a single Rudolph pancake. There's also a new Cinnamon Apple Crisp Pancake Slam, complete with breakfast meat, eggs and hashbrowns, as well as three wintry cold brew flavors and a new peppermint hot chocolate.

P.S.: Denny's just made their Kids Eat Free promo (with the purchase of any adult entrée) available on the daily from 4 to 10 p.m.

14. Papa John's Unleashes Its Largest Pizza Yet

Behold: The Grand Papa, the largest pizza that Papa John's has ever made. Crafted with the chain's six-ingredient dough, the massive pie is hand-stretched to serve eight oversized slices, each crowned with three cheeses, Italian seasoning and deli-style pepperoni. It's available for $15, along with the new Salted Caramel Blondie ($7 when paired).

15. Blank Street Launches Khloud Matcha for a Limited Time

Starbucks isn't the only brand adding protein to its drinks. Blank Street, home of the viral Banana Bread Matcha, just launched a collab with Khloud Protein Popcorn. Not only are they selling the brand's protein-enhanced popcorn in stores, but select cafes are also offering a Vanilla Bean Khloud Matcha that looks like a pastoral dreamscape in a cup...and tastes like birthday cake.

The layered drink is designed to be sipped without a straw, so you can experience its blue spirulina-enhanced, vanilla bean cold foam before easing into the matcha layer. Oh, and those clouds? They're swipes of Greek yogurt, adding to the drink's overall protein and fiber content. "I'm not a matcha person—it's often a bit too grassy for me—but this drink sold me. It has a light, vanilla bean taste that's sweet without cloying and oh so sippable," Davison says. The drink is only available until Nov. 12, so you'll have to act fast if you want to try it.

16. All the Thanksgiving Sandwiches

With Thanksgiving mere weeks away, sandwich and deli chains are rolling out their seasonal turkey sandwiches. Here's where you can get your fix ahead of the big feast:

  • Firehouse Subs's Thanksgiving Turkey Sub has carved turkey breast, traditional stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayo on toasted bread. There's also a new turkey gravy for dipping, as well as five-cheese mac and cheese and a new double chocolate chip cookie.
  • The T-Day offerings at Arby's are super decadent. Consider the Deep Fried Turkey Gobbler, featuring a quarter-pound of thick-sliced, deep fried turkey, crispy onions, Swiss cheese, stuffing, cranberry spread and mayo on a sub roll. There's also the Deep Fried Turkey Club with bacon, cheddar and classic produce. Whichever you choose, wash it down with a new Apple Pie Shake.
  • Wawa fans wait for the Gobbler menu every year, and with good reason. There are a few cold and hot sandwich options that boast everything from sweet potato to stuffing, plus hot and cold wrap options and bowls (one of which has mac and cheese).
  • Even Subway is getting in on the trend, releasing three Thanksgiving-ish handhelds on November 13. Each one gets sweet-tart cranberry sauce and savory turkey stuffing, but you choose the base: Festive Turkey, Festive Chicken or TurHamKen (a nod to the turducken, it includes turkey, ham and rotisserie chicken).
