Dunkin’s Entire Fall Menu, Ranked & Reviewed by a Food Editor
Pumpkin on pumpkin on pumpkin
Dunkin’ knows how to celebrate every season. They kicked off summer with a beachy bucket of Munchkins, not to mention a lineup of ice cream-inspired frozen coffees. Winter was all about soul-soothing decadence in the form of Lava Cake Lattes and Sabrina Carpenter’s Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso. Now that fall 2025 is in session, the chain has pivoted to maple-kissed bacon, spicy hash browns and all things pumpkin.
To find out which new and returning items are worth the buy, I, a food editor, headed to the nearest location to taste the entire lineup. Below, you’ll find my honest ranking of all the bites and bevs, along with original photos and detailed reviews.

Dunkin’ Fall Drinks, Ranked & Reviewed
- What It Is: strawberryRefresher base topped with oatmilk cold foam
- Price (medium): $5
It may arguably be the most on brand-looking for Sabrina Carpenter, on the heels of her Man’s Best Friend album launch (though admittedly, I don’t know much about her music). So, while the aesthetics may be on point, I have to say: It was my least favorite of the Daydream Refreshers. The strawberry tasted strong and artificial, like a lollipop. I thought it paired well with the creamy cold foam, but I found the other two more complex and balanced instead of one-note and sweet.
- What It Is: espresso, pumpkin syrup, vanilla flavor shot and milk of your choice, topped with whipped cream caramel drizzle and cinnamon sugar
- Price (small): $5
I admit it: I prefer the Starbucks PSL to Dunkin’s. I reviewed them both side by side last year, and thought there was a clear winner, and Dunkin’s pumpkin syrup doesn’t contain real pumpkin. However, there’s still something to be said for this seasonal stunner. The warm spices were there in full force; the addition of vanilla syrup helped tame their intensity, but I thought the cardamom in particular was excessively strong. It wasn’t a miss, but it’s not the best PSL out there, IMO.
- What It Is: mixed berry Refresher base topped with oatmilk cold foam
- Price (medium): $5
The mixed berry number was missing its frothy head, but I enjoyed it more than the strawberry. I loved how sour the base was; it was giving mostly raspberry and blackberry notes. I’m sure the cold foam would have made it more dessert-like (like ice cream-topped pie, perhaps?), but I didn’t mind its absence.
- What It Is: mango Refresher base topped with oatmilk cold foam
- Price (medium): $5
This tasted a lot like melty mango sorbet. I didn’t really get the signature tang of pineapple here (the Mango Pineapple Refresher base is the bulk of this drink), but the mango was sweet-tart and luscious. The oat cold foam added an extra layer of richness to the drink’s consistency, before it broke down and melted into the drink. (It separates, so if the look of that is going to turn you off, drink it as soon as you get it!) It’s new for fall, but the vibes were undoubtedly summery.
- What It Is: espresso and cereal-flavored milk
- Price (small): $5
I was most excited to try this gem, and it didn’t disappoint. At first, I thought it was just vaguely sweet with a hint of vanilla, but the more I sipped the more I felt it genuinely tasted like cereal milk. There’s a bready finish and a marshmallow-y note that totally tasted like Lucky Charms without being cloying. Would it be cute topped with whipped cream and some cereal crumbs or pieces? Yes. Does it need the baubles to be tasty? Nope.
Dunkin’ Fall Foods, Ranked & Reviewed
- What It Is: your choice of bread with egg, cheese and maple sugar bacon
- Price: $5
I had this fast food breakfast sandwich on a croissant. I’ve always appreciated the savory, greasy nature of Dunkin’s croissants specifically (although I’m a Wake-Up Wrap girl, and if you are too, you should know there’s also a Maple Sugar Snackin’ Bacon Wake-Up Wrap on the menu). While the cheese was thoroughly melted (although it sort of disappeared flavor- and appearance-wise in the handheld), the egg was tender and the bacon had a distinct maple flavor with a smoky edge, I wished the sandwich was more balanced. It was a bit too sweet for my taste, so I’d have it with hot sauce or a dash of salt and pepper next time.
- What It Is: chocolate frosted doughnut filled and topped with vanilla-flavored buttercream
- Price: $1
Full disclosure: Chocolate frosted doughnuts—especially cream-filled ones—are the last doughnuts I’d ever order. I find them overwhelmingly decadent. However, I liked that the filling here was more like whipped cream than custard à la Boston Cream. The chocolate and bonus cream on top were indeed very sweet and indulgent, almost sickeningly so for my palate. But if this is your sort of breakfast, you won’t be disappointed.
- What It Is: marbled pumpkin bread with cream cheese icing
- Price: $4
Think of this snack as the cool cousin of Starbucks’s Pumpkin & Pepita Loaf. It’s marbling made it look Insta-worthy and appetizing. The bread was impeccably moist and tender, although the pumpkin was more subtle than the cinnamon. The icing was my favorite part, as it was tangy and cream cheesy, sort of like these cream cheese frosting-topped pumpkin bars my mom used to make for Thanksgiving. I wouldn’t be opposed to a whole side of the bread being covered in icing instead of just the top, TBH, but it’d be much sweeter that way, too.
- What It Is: seasoned hash browns with bacon and chipotle sauce
- Price: $4
I really adored the chipotle sauce on these. It was tangy, rich, generously applied and genuinely spicy. It played up the salty, savory notes of the bacon, which is what I felt was missing from the sandwich. The hash browns are my favorite Dunkin’ food item, and their fluffy texture and herby taste shone through here. However, they definitely lost their crispness under the sauce and lid, so I’d dig in ASAP.
- What It Is: pumpkin cake doughnut with glaze
- Price: $1
It was tender, gently spiced and oh-so autumnal. But there’s something about the Munchkin format that I enjoyed more than the full-size doughnut. Maybe it’s the crispness of the glaze-covered doughnut holes. Maybe it’s their flawless ratio of cake to glaze. Maybe it’s that I can eat a dozen of them in rapid succession. Who knows!
- What It Is: pumpkin cake doughnut holes with glaze
- Price: $3/ten
On that note, man—what is it about Munchkins that make them so damn irresistible? I hadn’t had one in years, and never the pumpkin variety. I fell for them at first bite. They were super tender and moist on the inside (could they contain real pumpkin?!), and the signature glaze offered some semi-crumbly texture and the optimal dose of sweetness to every morsel. Spectacular, give me 14 of them right now.
