Fans are (understandably) counting down the days until Sweet Magnolias season three hits Netflix on July 20. The book adaptation has become one of the streaming service’s most popular shows, thanks to its feel-good storyline and lovable cast.

JoAnna García Swisher’s earliest acting credits include Vicki Appleby on Freaks and Geeks, Sam on Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Hallie on Party of Five. In addition to recurring roles on Once Upon a Time and The Mindy Project, the actress also starred as Cheyenne Hart on Reba.
Prior to Sweet Magnolias, Heather Headley appeared in She’s Gotta Have It and Chicago Med. The actress also has an impressive Broadway resume. Not only did she star in Aida and The Color Purple, but she also played the original Nala in The Lion King.
Although Brooke Elliott has appeared in several TV movies—like Furst Born and Crazy Wonderful—she’s widely recognized for playing Jane Bingum in Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva.
Justin Bruening began as a soap opera star, playing Jamie Martin in shows like One Life to Live and All My Children. He went on to appear in Ringer, Switched at Birth, Hawaii Five-0, Ravenswood and Grey’s Anatomy.
Sweet Magnolias aside, Chris Klein is known for starring as Oz in the American Pie franchise. Other TV credits include Welcome to the Captain, Wilfred and The Flash.
Some fans might recognize Jamie Lynn Spears as Britney Spears’s little sister. But she also starred as the titular character in Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101.
Before the Netflix show, Logan Allen had just begun his acting career, landing guest roles in shows like Talia in the Kitchen and Creepshow.
In addition to Sweet Magnolias, Carson Rowland also starred in American Housewife, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin and Ghost Tape.
Sweet Magnolias served as Anneliese Judge’s big break. In fact, she has only one previous acting credit—an independent film, titled Where’s Rose.
