When it comes to fashion icons, there are a few celebs and stylists who always deliver—Zendaya and Law Roach, I see you. From head-to-toe styling, the glam, the nails, the accessories—when it's right, it's art. And one of the latest to serve a full-on masterpiece? Serena Williams.

The tennis legend turned fashion queen stepped out the night before the Met Gala looking like a vision in white for Anna Wintour’s exclusive pre-Met dinner at her New York City home on Sunday, May 4. The guest list was stacked with A-listers like Rihanna, Cynthia Erivo and this year’s Met co-chairs—Pharrell, Colman Domingo and A$AP Rocky. And Serena was truly a vision in all white.

She posted her look on Instagram, rocking an ethereal, floor-length white gown that featured a one-shoulder neckline, elegant ruching across the bodice and a dramatic over-the-shoulder sash with fringe detailing. Her blonde hair was styled sleek and straight and she kept things minimal with a few dainty rings, earrings and strappy black heels.

In her caption, Serena encouraged her followers to check out her TikTok, where she posted a hallway strut video set to Eve’s “Who’s That Girl.” Spoiler: It’s her. And naturally, the internet couldn’t get enough. Even fellow Olympic icon Simone Biles dropped in with a comment with “omw to TikTok.”

Fans echoed the love leaving comments like, “This is absolutely beautiful. You go.” Another added, “That dress is stunning! Truly a standout moment.” And one simply said what we’re all thinking: “She’s that gurl.”

Of course, this isn’t Serena’s first slay. From her cut-out black gown at the 2025 TIME100 Gala to her monochromatic pink ensemble earlier this year, she’s been on a fashion roll—and I can’t wait to see what she wears next.
