  • After weeks of anticipation, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s groundbreaking interview finally aired on Sunday night. And the ex royal couple didn’t hold back. During the tell-all conversation with Oprah Winfrey, titled Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special, the couple opened up about their decision to step down as senior royals, their relationship with the media and what it was like for the Duchess of Sussex to join the royal family.
  • On Tuesday, Buckingham Palace released a heartfelt statement on behalf of Queen Elizabeth in response to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s claims about receiving very little support from the royal family. It also addressed accusations that were made about the couple’s 1-year-old son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
  • Prince William also spoke out about the interview on Thursday. William and Kate Middleton stepped out for the first time publicly since Sunday. In answer to a shouted question, the duke told Sky News, "We are very much not a racist family." This came seconds after he revealed that he had not yet spoken to Harry post-interview. "No, I haven't spoken to him yet, but I will do."
  • On Monday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry debuted a black-and-white maternity photo featuring Markle (looking chic in a patterned dress) cradling baby Archie above her baby bump while Harry holds her from behind. “What wonderful news to celebrate on International Women’s Day,” photographer Misan Harriman wrote alongside the photo on Twitter. “Congratulations my friends, and welcome to the #girldad club H.”
