Brand-New Meghan Markle Maternity Photo Features Soon-to-Be Big Brother Archie

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are celebrating International Women’s Day in the best way possible—by posing for a maternity photo of their soon-to-be family of four.

Just one day after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s tell-all conversation with Oprah aired on CBS, the ex-royal couple debuted a black-and-white maternity photo featuring Markle (looking chic in a patterned dress) cradling baby Archie above her baby bump while Harry holds her from behind.

“What wonderful news to celebrate on International Women’s Day,” photographer Misan Harriman wrote alongside the photo on Twitter. “Congratulations my friends, and welcome to the #girldad club H.” The caption is a reference to the big news that Harry and Meghan are expecting a baby girl, which they revealed during last night’s groundbreaking interview.

Prince Harry shared how he felt about having a daughter stating, “Just grateful, like any—to have any child, any one or any two would have been amazing. But to have a boy and then a girl, you know, what more can you ask for? But now, you know, now we’ve got our family. We’ve got, you know, the four of us and our two dogs, and it’s great.”

The news comes less than one month after Markle and Prince Harry confirmed that they’re expecting their second child. The royal couple announced the big news on Valentine's Day through a statement obtained by People magazine.

A spokesperson told the outlet, “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”

Archie looks like he’s ready to be a big brother already.
