  • This week, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released their 2021 Christmas card, which features a never-before-seen glimpse of Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. They were also joined by their 2-year-old son, Archie. The couple wrote, “This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a 'Mama' and a 'Papa,' and Lili made us a family. As we look forward to 2022, we have made donations on your behalf to several organizations that honor and protect families—from those being relocated from Afghanistan, to American families in need of paid parental leave.”
  • Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson gave a rare statement about Prince Harry’s relationship with Markle, admitting that Princess Diana would be pleased to see them so happy. She said, “The most important thing—and I know Diana, if she were here, would say that—is they are happy. And she makes him happy.”
  • Prince Edward and his wife, the Countess of Wessex, also debuted their family’s holiday card. It included a cheerful image (taken back in June) of the royal couple walking on the picturesque Forfar Golf Club course in Scotland. The message read, “Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” followed by their signatures.
  • ITV recently dropped a sneak peek of Royal Carols: Together at Christmas, and in the short clip, Prince William and Kate Middleton share an intimate moment while Ellie Goulding performs “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” The pair can be seen making deep eye contact and sharing smiles at the end of the video.
  • After the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released a photo from their Christmas card, we immediately realized that Princess Charlotte looks like a miniature version of Queen Elizabeth. After some sleuthing, we stumbled upon a different throwback photo that confirms Char has another double: Lady Kitty Spencer (AKA Princess Diana’s niece).
  • Earlier this week, Camilla Parker Bowles was named Patron of the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS), which aims to connect military personnel with their families. She announced the exciting news by sitting down for a candid video, where she explained why she’s so passionate about the Armed Forces. She said, “I know a little of the importance of maintaining the connection between service personnel and family because during the second World War, my father was held as a prisoner of war in Germany.”
  • Bowles and her husband, Prince Charles, also shared a glimpse of their whimsical Christmas tree. In a video posted on the Clarence House Instagram page, the camera pans over a colorfully decorated tree, while Michael Bublé's rendition of “It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas” plays in the background.
