Meghan Markle & Prince Harry’s Son Archie Just Made a Surprise Appearance (Where He Talked & Giggled)

It’s been weeks since we first reported on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new partnership with Spotify. And, as promised, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex just released their holiday special on the streaming platform. However, we weren’t expecting this very special guest.

ICYMI: Earlier this month, the former royal couple announced that they will produce programming by way of their company Archewell Audio in partnership with Spotify, including the special that would tell “stories of hope and compassion from inspirational guests in celebration of the new year.” The program was released on Tuesday (December 29) and included guests such as Stacey Abrams, Christina Adane, José Andrés, Brené Brown, Rachel Cargle, Deepak Chopra, James Corden, Matt Haig, Sir Elton John, Hussain Manawer, Naomi Osaka and Tyler Perry. But perhaps the most important appearance made during the 30-minute clip? Baby Archie.

Yup. At the very end of the segment, the couple allowed Archie to take a turn at the microphone.  “You can speak into it,” Prince Harry told his son.

“Archie, is it fun?” Meghan said, to which Archie responded, “Fun?” Then Meghan repeated, “Fun!”

Archie also sent a special message in honor of the end of the year. “After me. Ready? Happy...” Harry said, to which Archie repeated, “Happy.” His parents helped him with the remainder of the phrase but Archie managed to finish off with “New Years” and a giggle. Honestly, we can’t believe how old he sounds.

In addition to the holiday program, a complete series from the partnership is set to air in 2021. We’re crossing our fingers for more Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor appearances in the new year.
