Yesterday marked a special day for the royal family. Not only did everyone from Kate Middleton and Prince William to Prince Harry (sans Meghan Markle) reunite for Easter mass at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, but it was also Queen Elizabeth’s 93rd birthday.
Princess Beatrice Stole the Show in a Custom Frock at Queen Elizabeth’s Birthday Mass
The birthday girl monarch attended the mass in a festive aqua and pink getup, and the Duchess of Cambridge wore a somewhat similar powder blue coat, but it was Princess Beatrice who stole the sartorial show.
The 30-year-old Princess of York returned to her sister, Princess Eugenie’s, wedding venue looking effortlessly polished in a dark blue bespoke Claire Mischevani Couture dress with a floral embellished hem. The expertly tailored dress featured a puff sleeve detail and a skirt with a single pleat. The style was somewhat reminiscent of an Alexander McQueen dress favored by her 37-year-old cousin-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge. In fact, Middleton wore that dress to Princess Eugenie’s 2018 wedding to Jack Brooksbank.
Beatrice accessorized her Easter look with nude Jimmy Choo pointed-toe silk pumps, which elongated her legs, and a brown Juliette Botterill Millinery tilted fascinator adorned with flowers. She finished off her outfit with a simple black leather box clutch with gold hardware.
Like her younger sister, Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice has long been recognized for her bespoke fascinators and signature style. Prior to dominating the Easter outfit game, Beatrice stepped out with her brand-new real estate magnate boyfriend, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, at the National Portrait Gala in March wearing a luxe red velvet dress from Alaïa.
One thing’s for sure: Princess Beatrice won Easter royal mass. We tip our fascinator to you, Bea.
