Princess Beatrice Tweeted at Chrissy Teigen and Offered to Be Her Goddaughter

Chrissy Teigen’s fans are innumerable (and we count ourselves among the most reverent of them all), but one that really got her attention: Princess Beatrice.

It all started when the Cravings cookbook author tweeted one of her Chrissy-isms, which are actually just random thoughts that seem to pop into her head whenever she feels like sharing. This one read “‘bea’ is such an adorable name. someone name their kid bea please. I am not ready for another daughter and John says no more dogs. I will be their god parent.” (John!!!! Seriously?! That more dogs ban better be temporary…)

Princess Beatrice, the royal granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth, waited a few hours to reply (until about 11 p.m. London time, which probably means she’s a fan of scrolling in her PJs…and hear, hear!). She wrote to Teigen: “I would adore to be your god daughter.”

And Teigen’s reaction was all of us if any royal ever did anything at all to acknowledge our presence, let alone reply to our tweets: “oh my god oh my god oh my god.”
