Nick Jonas Is Joining ‘The Voice’ as a Judge, So Set Your DVRs

We've been dancing on top of cars and stumbling out of bars to celebrate this new Nick Jonas update: He's joining The Voice as a coach in spring 2020!

Yep, the "Sucker" singer has a new gig that includes those big spinning chairs. Jonas will join as judge on NBC's hit singing competition show for season 18, alongside Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend. Gwen Stefani, who is the fourth coach this season, won't be returning next spring.

He's not the first Jonas Brother to appear on the show, though. His brother, Joe Jonas, was a coach on the Australian version of The Voice in 2018.

"Well, the big news is finally out," Nick said in a video posted to Twitter on October 7. "I'm so excited for season 18 of The Voice..." he said, naming his fellow coaches. "While I'm excited to work with you guys...I'm coming for ya."

Looks like the smack talk has already begun. The Voice season 18 will premiere in February 2020.
