Kelly Ripa & Ryan Seacrest Totally Changed Up Their ‘Live’ Entrance (and Wardrobe) Today

When it comes to staying home for the holidays this year, Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest are not messing around. For their Live with Kelly and Ryan holiday special (which aired today), the co-hosting duo donned their best Christmas morning ensembles—footy pajamas and Santa hats.

On Tuesday, the 50-year-old actress and the 45-year-old TV personality were seen in a behind-the-scenes video stepping onto the morning show stage in matching holiday onesies. “Tune in now for our @ Home for the Holidays Show!” the show’s producers captioned the video on Instagram.

In the clip, we see the All My Children alum running through a side stage door (decorated with a wreath and all) as if she were coming in from outside. In fact, the crew even provided the setting with fake snow to make it seem like there was a winter storm brewing. Seacrest followed in shortly after and even wore snow boots. “Oh my God, that was magical,” Ripa said at the end of the video. How clever, you two.

The holiday special comes days after the American Idol alum made his big return from a four-day hiatus from the show. On Friday, the TV star returned to Live with a bang and twinned with Ripa in festive Christmas sweaters. The talk show's official account shared snaps of their matching outfits, with the first one featuring both Seacrest and Ripa in sweaters with each other's faces on them.
