After days of reporting that Ryan Seacrest has been missing from Live with Kelly and Ryan, we’ve finally come to the conclusion that we have no idea when he’s coming back. While we first thought it was simply just a two-day hiatus, we’re starting to believe that he’s likely going to be MIA for the remainder of the week. So, who is filling in for the 45-year-old today? Anderson Cooper (again).
ICYMI: Seacrest has been absent from Live all of this week. On Monday and Tuesday, Kelly Ripa was joined by guest co-host, Andy Cohen, who revealed that he was sitting in for the American Idol alum for just two days. Yesterday, a behind-the-scenes Instagram video shared by the show’s producers revealed that Cooper had stepped in to cover for Seacrest on Wednesday’s episode. And we’re starting to notice a pattern since today makes day two for the CNN correspondent.
Right on schedule, producers shared another clip of Ripa and Cooper preparing to film today’s show. “Tune in now for guest cohost @andersoncooper!” they captioned the video of the duo walking onto the set.
