Just because Jennifer Aniston is no longer married to Justin Theroux doesn’t mean she can’t help the actor ring in this major milestone.
Yesterday, the Morning Show actress, 52, celebrated Theroux’s 50th birthday on social media. Aniston shared not one, but two never-before-seen photos of her ex-husband, including a shirtless pic you need to see to believe.
The birthday tribute kicks off with a selfie of Theroux and his dog, Kuma. In the photo (screenshot above), Theroux is donning a chic suit alongside the caption, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY JT.”
The second photo (see below) shows an entirely different side of The Leftovers star, who’s wearing minimal clothing. We’re talking a white Nike visor, gold jewelry and, well, that’s it. Aniston wrote, “Truly one of a kind [sunglasses emoji] LOVE YOU!”
Aniston and Theroux first started dating back in 2011 and announced their engagement one year later. In 2015, they tied the knot in an intimate backyard wedding. Although they separated three years later, the pair now have a cordial friendship.
“I would say we’ve remained friends,” Theroux previously told Esquire. “We don’t talk every day, but we call each other. We FaceTime. We text.”
He continued, “Like it or not, we didn’t have that dramatic split, and we love each other. I’m sincere when I say that I cherish our friendship. Also, she makes me laugh very, very hard. She’s a hilarious person. It would be a loss if we weren’t in contact, for me personally. And I’d like to think the same for her.”
