Sporting a full face of makeup, the Breaking In star rapped about the show's main characters. But when she mentioned how much she enjoys looking at the male actors, her husband, Dywane Wade, *conveniently* stepped into the frame with a confused look for comedic effect. After realizing that Wade was right there, Union quickly said that she had to go, but not before confirming that she is #TeamLawrence (much to some fans' disappointment).
In the comments, Rae, who plays the main character on the series, left a few laughter emojis and said, "You are the realest and the illest! Thank you for blessing us!!" The show's official account also showed their appreciation, adding, "Here for this [heart emoji]."
In addition to Outstanding Comedy Series, Rae was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series while Yvonne Orji, who plays Molly, was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Though the show didn't receive any golden statuettes for the night, the series was previously honored for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Comedy Series at the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. So well deserved!
