We Just Got a Behind-the-Scenes Look at Princess Beatrice’s Wedding, Courtesy of Her New Husband

Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is giving the people what they want in the form of a brand-new photo from his private wedding to Princess Beatrice.

Last week, the royal couple surprised us all by quietly tying the knot in an intimate ceremony. Buckingham Palace broke the news in a statement Friday, "The private wedding ceremony of Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place at 11 a.m. on Friday 17th July at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor. The small ceremony was attended by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and close family. The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant Government Guidelines.”

Of course, it wasn’t long before we got our first look at the nuptials. One day after the ceremony, the royal family shared a slideshow on its official Instagram account, featuring never-before-seen photos of the newlyweds just moments after they said, “I do.”

Lucky for us, the groom himself subsequently shared another photo from his big day, featuring himself and his now-wife posing under a tree with a looming, dark shadow. See the gorgeous snap below.

“I carry your heart with me (i carry it in my heart) I am never without it (anywhere I go you go, my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling) I fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) I want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true) and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is you,” he captioned part of the post.

And while we thought it was going to be mother-of-the-bride, Fergie, who would be the first to share behind-the-scenes snap, we’re just happy we got one.
