I recently dressed like Princess Beatrice and can easily attest: Her sartorial choices are consistently practical and chic. Enter one of her go-to flats: The Mary Jane silhouette from Rothy’s. She’s worn them on countless occasions (and in a variety of colors) in recent years from attending the Frieze Art Fair last fall to cheering on the Lionesses during their victory lap this spring. Now, the good news: Bea’s beloved Mary Jane style (typically $159, now $99) is part of Rothy’s site-wide sale with everything up to 30 percent off.

As someone who has reached for Rothy’s on numerous occasions over the years, here’s what I love most about this particular style: It’s chic, but also a flat, which means it’s built for all-day wear. The Mary Jane silhouette in particular features a flexible upper, but the strap keeps your feet secure. (Nothing worse than a shoe that always feels like it’s falling off.)

In Beatrice’s case, she’s worn the shoe in lollipop red—such a fun pop of color!—and a more versatile black hue. (At the Frieze Art Fair, she seems to have reached for the pointed toe style as opposed to the square toe, proof that she has a range of Rothy’s Mary Jane options in her closet.)

Truly, there’s no better time to shop than Black Friday, given the site-wide sale. More details so you know exactly when to shop: The offer of up to 30 percent off lasts from November 21 to December 1 and is available both in-store and online. (It excludes gift card purchases, FYI.)

Did we mention every Rothy’s style is machine-washable? No wonder Beatrice’s Mary Janes look good as new after every single wear.
