The new BFFs have made it official, because Prince Charles just appointed Amal Clooney head of one of his global initiatives for the Prince’s Trust.
The Clooneys dined with the Prince of Wales at Buckingham on Tuesday (sans Meghan and Kate), and Amal left quite the impression on His Majesty.
Prince Charles said she was “deeply impressive” (we knew this already) and has asked the human rights lawyer to be a figurehead for the first global youth campaign for Prince’s Trust International, according to The Daily Mail.
The Prince’s Trust is a charity founded by Charles that supports young people from ages 11 to 30 who are unemployed, struggling in school and generally at risk. According to the Mail, the new initiative may even be named after Amal and George Clooney. (The Clooney Cause has a nice ring to it, no?)
