King Charles may be 76 years old, but that didn’t stop him from breaking a sweat during his latest royal outing.

This week, the monarch visited the Royal College of Nursing in London where he met with cadets who are dedicated to working in healthcare. King Charles even learned how to perform CPR on a medical test mannequin, and I was genuinely impressed by his strength and rhythm.

The royal family shared a video on social media, featuring a montage of footage from the outing. The clip opened with King Charles performing CPR on a mannequin with all his strength, even though no real lives were at stake.

“A Royal Cadet in training!” the caption read. “The King has joined @TheRCN to celebrate their 1000th King’s Nursing Cadet.”

The caption also included details about the outing, adding, “During his time at the College, His Majesty met cadets from across the UK who are undertaking or have completed the programme, which allows cadets to carry out 40 hours of teaching and learning experience plus 20 hours of clinical observation in a healthcare environment.”

It continued, “The young cadets demonstrated some of the new skills they have learnt—and even encouraged His Majesty to have a go himself!”

Followers filled the comments section with supportive messages. One person wrote, “Darn good chest compressions!” Another added, “King Charles is so cute, love the way he talk to the people and how interested he is. He looks so happy. Wonderful.”

His enthusiasm is infectious.
