Brightland

Do you cherish every drop of your beloved Brightland olive oil? How about the brand’s fancy vinegars? Same here. (Don’t even get us started on the raw honeys.) While we tend to use Ina-Garten-caliber “good” olive oil sparingly, this gourmet brand just released a new take on their EVOO that comes in a squirt bottle, which definitely encourages liberal drizzling. Behold: Brightland’s Pizza Oil.

Brightland Vinegar Had a 1,000-Person Waitlist, So We *Had* to Try Their New Garlic-Infused Olive Oil

This brand-new condiment will no doubt take pizza night to the next level. The oil is made from a custom blend of olives, which are freshly crushed with jalapeños, garlic, oregano and basil. Its flavor is rich, complex, vegetal and deliciously savory.

A third-generation olive oil family crafted this oil by cold-pressing Arbosana, Arbequina and Mission olives from California’s Central Coast and Valley, using the ancient Italian method of agrumato. For the uninitiated, agrumato involves pressing citrus fruits with olives to create a uniquely zesty, fragrant olive oil.

As if that wasn’t appetizing enough, the oil comes in an easy-to-use squeeze bottle—similar to the cult-favorite olive oil brand Graza, though chefs have been using squirt bottles in professional kitchens for years—so you can drizzle away to your heart’s content. (You should also feel free to dunk a slice instead if you feel so inclined.)

Of course, this souped-up oil would definitely upgrade salad dressings, pastas, eggs, soups, charcuterie, dips and sandwiches, too. Whatever floats your pizza crust.

Once You Taste Graza’s Premium Olive Oil, You’ll Never Go Back to the Supermarket Stuff Again
