Having a baby adds up fast (cribs, diapers, breast pumps—oh my!), but if you're looking to knock something off your registry while saving some cash, you need to check out the Amazon Prime Day Early Access Event. The sale ends at midnight tonight (October 12), and you have to be a Prime member to take advantage of the deals (though you can sign up instantly to snag the discounts), but it's worth jumping on, particularly when it comes to the Graco car seat sale.

Several models are discounted, though we're eyeing these four in particular, based on reviews, safety ratings and their ability to grow with your child, so you're not replacing 'em every year. (Oh, and while you're at it, you might want to scoop up a seat protector, which is currently 43 percent off.)

Most Versatile

1. Graco Grows4Me 4-in-1 Car Seat

Graco

While we were initially put off by the bulk of this car seat (nearly 23 pounds vs. the 19- to 20-pound weight of the others on this list), the reviews sold us: "My daughter and I were T-boned by a garbage truck ten days after installing this car seat," one parent shared. "I have a spinal fracture and torn ligaments above my spine, and she slept through it without even a scratch on her head." (It also has a ten-position headrest and a six-position recline, allowing for a great fit for babies weighing 5 pounds or more.)

Best for Small Cars

2. Graco SlimFit 3-in-1 Car Seat

Graco

Anyone who's carpooled multiple kids—or is the parent of twins, triplets or toddlers close in age—can attest that the struggle to fit multiple car seats in the backseat is all too real. That's where it pays to look into slimmer seats, like this Graco design (which takes up ten percent less space than comparable models). It has a steel-reinforced frame that's passed safety tests, and it's versatile enough to pivot from those rear-facing days of early infanthood to booster-seat life, when your kid reaches 40 to 100 pounds.

With more than 66,000 reviews averaging out to a 4.9 out of 5 stars, the Graco Extend2Fit is a top pick for new and seasoned parents alike. (One reviewer, a parent of five kids, has cycled through eight car seats and said this was the very best.) We appreciate its push-button latch system for easy installation; the storage pockets that let you easily tuck in seat belt straps, making it easier to get the baby in and out of the seat; and its dual cup holders, perfect for stowing a drink and a snack (because you know when a kid asks for one, it's not long before they want the other).

Easy to Clean

4. Graco Landmark 3-in-1 Car Seat

Adjusting a car seat can be a pain, but not with the Graco Landmark. The seat features a no-rethread harness, so the headrest and harness adjust in one motion (and, according to the brand, it's so simple you can do it one-handed). There's also a four-position recline, should your little one doze off mid-drive, and a washable seat cover you can detach without removing the whole harness. (Plus, like the others on this list, it's been crash-tested and is safe for children from 5 to 100 pounds.)
