2. The Conners (Season 6)

The Roseanne spin-off is returning for more family drama in season six, which follows the Conner family—Dan, Jackie, Darlene, Becky and D.J.—as they navigate adulthood. Cue the canned laughter.

3. Not Dead Yet (Season 2)

4. Abbott Elementary (Season 3)

Based on the U.K. series, the story follows a young couple who inherit a mansion that’s haunted by its previous residents. What could possibly go wrong?

Based on the namesake Harlan Coben novel, the limited series introduces viewers to a woman who’s grieving the loss of her husband…or so she thinks. Everything changes when she installs a nanny cam in their daughter’s room and catches a glimpse of her supposedly dead husband. 

2. True Detective: Night Country

  • Premiere date: January 14
  • Cast: Jodie Foster, Kali Reis, Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett

The new season takes place in Ennis, Alaska, shortly after eight men mysteriously vanish from the Tsalal Arctic Research Station. The investigation is spearheaded by Detective Liz Danvers (played by Jodie Foster).

3. Griselda

  • Premiere date: January 25
  • Cast: Sofía Vergara, Alberto Guerra, Vanessa Ferlito, Alberto Ammann

Sofía Vergara shows off her acting versatility in the upcoming limited series, which is inspired by the life story of drug kingpin Griselda Blanco.

4. The Good Doctor (Season 7)

The medical drama focuses on a surgeon with autism who uses his extraordinary mind to help his patients. The series is like a cross between Grey's Anatomy and House.

5. 9-1-1 (Season 7)

  • Premiere date: March 14
  • Cast: Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Jennifer Love Hewitt

The Ryan Murphy series used to air on Fox, but it found a new home at ABC. The procedural drama offers a realistic glimpse into the lives of first responders, including police officers, firefighters and dispatchers, as they work together to save lives on a variety of heart-stopping emergencies.

6. Grey’s Anatomy (Season 20)

  • Premiere date: March 14
  • Cast: Richard Webber, Kim Raver, Kevin McKidd

The drama series follows the employees of Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital as they balance their personal and professional lives. The new season heavily focuses on the new interns, now that Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) is no longer a series regular.

7. Bridgerton (Season 3)

  • Premiere date: May 16
  • Cast: Luke Newton, Nicola Coughlan, Phoebe Dynevor, Jonathan Bailey

Unlike the first two seasons, the new installment focuses on the love story between Colin and Penelope. The series is set in London during the early 1800s (commonly known as the Regency Period).

8. Virgin River (Season 6)

Netflix hasn’t announced a release date for Virgin River season six, but if the upcoming installment is anything like the previous ones, it will likely arrive sometime in summer 2024. The drama series focuses on a nurse practitioner who moves to a small town for a fresh start.

3. The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live

Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira and Pollyanna McIntosh are reprising their roles in the follow-up series, which takes place after the events of the original Walking Dead series. 

4. Fallout

  • Cast: Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins

Based on the best-selling video game franchise, the new series takes place in a post-apocalyptic America after a nuclear war. The story is told from the perspective of the survivors.

4. Survivor (Season 46)

The show enlists a group of castaways to travel to a deserted island, where they’re divided into teams and forced to fend for themselves for shelter and food. They compete in a variety of challenges that are designed to test their mental and physical capabilities.

5. The Amazing Race (Season 36)

Follow eleven teams as they travel the globe and complete a variety of challenges on this race around the world. One team is eliminated during each leg of the race until the winner receives $1,000,000.

The next season of The Bachelor focuses on Joey Graziadei's journey to find love. The show enlists 30 women to date the eligible bachelor, who previously starred on The Bachelorette. Graziadei eliminates contestants on a weekly basis until there's one woman standing.
