Good news for True Detective fans.
HBO has released more details about season four, which deserves a spot on your watch list. While the network already confirmed that Jodie Foster is joining True Detective: Night Country, it just announced another cast member. Welcome, Kali Reis.
Reis is best known for being a world champion boxer and an Indigenous advocate. Recently, she has added acting to her resume. In 2021, she made her acting debut in a revenge thriller, Catch The Fair One, and will star in an upcoming film called Black Flies. The new installment of the hit HBO show will be her second TV spot, after appearing in the network's HBO Boxing franchise.
According to Deadline, the premise of the show is "when the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the six men that operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers (played by Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (played by Reis) will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves, and dig into the haunting truths that lie buried under the eternal ice."
