House of the Dragon, Euphoria and Succession are some of the best shows to grace our screens over the past year. Besides keeping us endlessly entertained, they have another major thing in common: They're available for streaming on HBO Max. And it looks like it's your lucky day because from now through October 30, the streaming service is knocking more than 40 percent (41.6 percent, to be exact) off for any new customers who pre-pay for a year subscription. This means you'll either pay $70 (saving you $50) when you sign up for a subscription with ads or $105 (saving you $75) without ads. Either way, you'll be set to watch all the hottest shows through next year.

BTW, HBO Max is a branch of HBO, which most of us are familiar with. The difference between the two is HBO only streams classic TV shows and blockbuster movies (like King Richard and Sex and the City), whereas HBO Max streams the classics, plus hundreds of Max Originals (And Just Like That... and Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, ring a bell?).

And if you thought HBO was popular, you should know that many streamers are even more obsessed with HBO Max. There are several hashtags dedicated to the platform on TikTok like #hbomax and #hbomaxseries, with users calling out their favorite shows and movies. One Tiktok video, with more than 200,000 likes, compared HBO Max and Netflix selections and HBO Max came out on top. (Yup, you can only binge-watch all the episodes of Gossip Girl on HBO Max.)

In other words, it's one of the best streaming platforms available. The fact that you can access it now starting at $70 for an entire year (vs. $120) gives you all the more reason to sign up before prices go back up after October 30.

Happy streaming!
