Your Weekly Horoscopes: November 27 to December 3, 2022

Some things come together easier than expected this week while other things fall apart. We’re halfway through Mars retrograde as Mercury and Venus face off with the red planet on the 29th and the 1st. Mercury and Venus only oppose Mars once every two years, bringing a tense moment for communications and relationships of all kinds. Those born with this signature in their birth chart—like Dolly Parton and David Lynch—are usually experts in communicating the depth of human experience. But going through the transit on a collective level is challenging. Though Mercury and Mars connect with stabilizing Saturn bringing some solid breakthroughs, Mercury also squares off with hazy Neptune on the 1st leading to misunderstandings and confusion. Choose your words carefully or risk hurting someone’s feelings.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

Back from Thanksgiving break and you’re feeling incredible about your social life going into December. Never have you been so popular, and yet, you can’t shake the sinking feeling that you’re falling behind in your ambitions and have no idea what you’re actually doing with your life. Give yourself space to get creative. Meditate. Write down your dreams. Your next step is likely already in your subconscious.

This week’s mantra: “Accept.”

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

Now that you’ve gotten most of your holiday shopping done with some amazing Black Friday Deals, you’re feeling much less panicked than you were last week about being able to afford all those gifts. The relief is a double-edged sword though as you now must face other debts that are hanging over your head. Scheduling a meeting with a financial advisor or just a friend who’s good with numbers is the first step.

This week’s mantra: “Budget.”

Cheeky illustration of identical twins with long dark hair and a statement earrings back-to-back, smirking at each other.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

After a hectic but fun Thanksgiving weekend, you’re feeling more confident in your long term vision than you have all year. You’re not living your dream life yet, but you know the steps you need to take to get there. Despite this, you’re dealing with difficult clients, late invoices or tension with your partner. It’s going to take some effort on your part to get back on the same page.

This week’s mantra: “Compromise.”

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

You’ve been spending more time alone than you’d usually like during the holidays, but you’re also been able to clear out some literal or metaphorical baggage. Though you’re a bit lonely, things do feel lighter. This week pulls you back into the grind though when you have to handle a crisis at work or with your pet that snaps you right back into reality. How can you keep your cool when things get busy?

This week’s mantra: “Attention.”

Cheeky illustration of a woman of Asian-descent wearing a sheer coral top with her hair half-up in pigtail puns, the rest down. She is hugging a lion, who is smirking.

Leo (July 23 - Aug 22)

Heading into December, you’re feeling so much relief that your partner gets along with your friends. On the work front, all that networking you’ve been doing is paying off and you’re getting some exciting new clients and offers. That said, you’re still having to sacrifice a bit of your own fun to make everyone else happy. Give yourself time to do something that’s just for your own pleasure. You deserve it.

This week’s mantra: “Sweet.”

Cheeky illustration with a light blue background of a woman wearing a coral shirt coyly poking out from behind her hands.

Virgo (August 23 - September 23)

There’s so much going on at work this week, but honestly, you’re thrilled to be busy doing things that you love. Everything is filling your cup from business meetings to planning a community holiday event to shuttling your kids to all kinds of seasonal activities. Despite this, you still have to work through some family drama with your parents or siblings that heated up over Thanksgiving. Time to get everything out on the table.

This week’s mantra: “Foundation.”

Libra (September 23 - October 21)

After a tumultuous few months, it finally feels like your big dreams are matching up with your desires. You’re ready to bring your next great idea into the world! Despite this, you still have so many little details to iron out. You’re launching a business but concerned about handling demand, or starting grad school and concerned about keeping up with your assignments. Instead of stewing in overwhelm, start with what you can control.

This week’s mantra: “Routine.”

Scorpio (October 22 - November 21)

Thanksgiving with your family can often be a three act dramatic play, but this year, you were able to break some curses. You’re feeling thankful to have survived the intensity and be on the way to healing. Now you’re left wondering, how do I move in the world without all this hanging over my head? Who am I without this shame? Treat yourself to something nice. You’ve come a long way.

This week’s mantra: “Solid.”

Cheeky illustration of a Black woman with purple hair on an orange background. She's in a wearing jean jacket, with a quiver strapped across her back and arrows sticking out.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)

Your first Thanksgiving with a new partner went as smoothly as it possibly could, and you’re so happy you got to show her all your favorite hometown haunts. But now you’re exhausted. It’s your season, but you’ve been so caught up in everyone else’s needs that you’ve been slacking on self care. Looking good doesn’t always mean feeling good. Take some time to consider how you can give yourself more loving attention.

This week’s mantra: “Indulge.”

A cheeky image of a woman of color with dark hair holding a pink goat by the horns. The background is pink and her shirt is darker pink.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)

For the first time in a long time, it feels like your hard work is actually getting you paid. But you can’t help but shake the feeling that you’ll never be allowed to take a real break. This week is about finding time in your daily schedule to unplug and disconnect from the grind. You don’t always need to be productive. Sometimes you need to just stare into the middle distance and slip into the void.

This week’s mantra: “Release.”

Cheeky image of a Black woman with blue hair on a light blue background. She's holding blue water in her palms, which is bubbling up and taking shape as her hair.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)

You’re feeling so refreshed after a Thanksgiving weekend spent having fun with loved ones, especially your kids. But now it’s time to leave the safe cocoon of your family and get back on Slack. Bonding with your coworkers has been challenging but might be worth the effort, especially as you begin to pursue some more refined career goals. Put yourself out there!

This week’s mantra: “Rise.”

Cheeky illustration of a gender-fluid white person with short-cropped orange hair. They're wearing a light blue halter top as two bright pink koi fish circle their head.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)

Spending Thanksgiving solo ended up being more restorative than lonely, but now you’re back to business—running all over between errands, holiday parties and family obligations. You’re stressing over work/life balance and your challenge over the next few weeks is to make equal time for both. Start with setting deadlines at work so everyone knows what to expect.

This week’s mantra: “Prioritize.”
